Marjorie Marie Moore

At 10:50 a.m. on January the 6th., surrounded by her loved ones; a beloved wife, mother, sister, and nana took her last breath and went headlong into the waiting arms of Jesus. Marge was a loving, caring, and nurturing wife who is survived by her husband of 32 years, Ron, and her sons, Ron III (Rachel), Steven, and Shawn (Allyson). Marge was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred; her father, Buford; and her sisters, Brenda, and Carol. Marge was a dedicated grandmother whose grandchildren affectionately referred to her as “Nana”. She leaves behind grandsons, John, Christopher, Ben, and Donovan, and granddaughters, Grace, Maya, Halie, and Harper Jean. Marge spent her life in the service of other people and focused only on spreading love and joy. She was a friend, a mentor, and always the first to offer a listening ear and comforting hug. Marge was a life-long Tigers and Red Wings fan, and an Ohio State Buckeyes fan (if only to poke fun at her family’s dedication to the Michigan Wolverines.) Her thunderous “Go Buckeyes!” will be missed echoing through the halls of her home, along with the smell of her baking. Visitation will be held at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont, on Thursday, January 13th from 4-7 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Friday, January 14th at 11 a.m. at Stegenga Funeral Chapel. Funeral procession and entombment service to follow. Flowers are greatly encouraged.
