Marjorie Ann Kidd

Marjorie “Marge” Ann Kidd, age 79, of Allendale, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Willis; son, Allen; and brother, George Landheer.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark (Lori) Kidd, and Cindy (Rex) Ridings; grandchildren, Ryan (Leslie) Kidd, Jennifer (Greg) Meyers, and Samantha Ridings; great-grandchildren, Gracie Ridings, Ella, Cohen, and Brady Kidd, Addison, and Owen Meyers; brothers and sister, Ben (Linda) Landheer, Robert Landheer, Beatrice Molendyk; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Landheer, Carol (Harley) Berens; and many nieces and nephews. She had many close friends around her home in Allendale, at their cottage on Upper Silver Lake and where they wintered in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.  Marge was a longtime member at Spring Valley/First Reformed Church in Allendale and enjoyed going on several mission trips to Haiti. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Spring Valley Church, 5947 Lake Michigan Dr., Allendale, with Rev. Rob Wondergem officiating.  Interment will be held at Allendale Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, and on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Discipleship Training Center in Haiti.
