Marilyn T. Gort

Marilyn T. Gort, age 84, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 21, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her husband  of 55 years, Edwin Gort, and her brother, Clare and Eileen Bouma.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Mark and Kristin Gort, Mike and Paula Gort, Jim and Lynn Gort, Beth and Bob Goeman; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Maria and John Ashley (Louella, Bevan), Joy and Anthony Kasper (Isaac), Shanna and Dave Grigoletti Jr. (Cheyenne, Dakota, Autumn, Parker), Jill Gort, Michelle and Chris McNeil (Caleb), Paul and Jessica Gort (Colin, Ellie, Esther), Amber and Tim Leugs (Matilda, Theodore, Beatrix), Phillip, Matt, Kizie Gort, Stephanie and Sean Lynn, and Brandon and Lee Goeman; sister, Joyce and Rev Robert Holwerda; brother-in-law, Henry and Lois Gort; sister-in-law, Maxine Bell; nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Robert Holwerda officiating.  Interment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8  p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Back to God Ministries International.
