Marilyn Jean Little, age 83, of Kentwood, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, June 23, 2024. We lost a special mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on that day. Marilyn was a special friend, a special cousin, a special neighbor. She lived a full life of family and friends and has thousands of pictures. She loved flowers, and geraniums and zinnias were her favorite. She also loved animals and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels on her deck. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, often attending all the events for the grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son, Mark; daughter-in-law, Laureen. She will be greatly missed by her children: Mike R. Little, and Scott T. (Cristy) Little; grandchildren: Shaunna Ager (fiancé, Marty Marzean), Janine Little, Brandon (fiancée, Beth Adcock) Little, Kyle (Taylor) Little, Zack (Emily) Little, Tyler (Dominique) Little, Nicole (Chad) Sinke, Jordan (fiancée, Emina Donko) Little; great grandchildren: Haidyn, Teagyn, Maisyn, Alexandra, Braelyn, Chloe, Grayson, Kylee and Evelyn. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held at Hopkins Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society.
