Talsma, Marilyn Joyce Marilyn Joyce (Norden) Talsma, age 79, of Jenison, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.  Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family.  She was a strong woman of faith, blessed with the gifts of hospitality and encouraging others. Marilyn was a caregiver by nature and profession, selfless and devoted to the well-being of others.  She always had a kind word of encouragement to whomever she met.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Nelson “Ted” Talsma; children, Laurie and Michael Genzink of Wyckoff, NJ, Jane and David Mulder of Jenison, Sarah and Gary Robinett of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Brian, Lisa, and Scott Genzink, Kathy, Jon, and Andy Mulder; Gary-Paul and Beth Robinett and their son, Owen; brother, Wes and Mary Norden; sisters-in-law, Marcia Talsma, Kay Talsma; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10 AM at Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin Street, Jenison, with Rev. Len Kuyvenhoven and Rev. Nancy Boote officiating.  Interment Georgetown Township Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the church.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Jenison Christian School or Faith Hospice – Trillium Woods.
