Mull, Marilee MULL: Marilee Ann Mull, age 62, of Allendale, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 23, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 43 yrs., Robert; children: Bobby Jr. and Renata Mull, Bill and Debra Mull, Kathy and Kenzie Homer; the joys of her life, her grandchildren: Braeanna, Emma, Riley, Preston, Gibson, Faith, Kalena; brothers and sisters: Peter Krystiniak, Michael and Sandy Krystiniak, Lynn and Stanlee Johnson, JoAnne Khanani, Karen Krystiniak, Patty and Dave McDonald; special friends and cousin, Sandy and Pete Noto; many nieces, nephews and close friends and coworkers at Herman Miller. Marilee had a strong faith and passionately passed that faith on to her family. Lately, she had taught her grandchildren to sew, making cloth gift bags to sell at various craft fairs, and all proceeds went to benefit God’s Kitchen. She enjoyed organizing and planning special occasions, but always shunned the spotlight or receiving credit. She also loved to travel and had visited every U.S. state except Hawaii. Her family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the loving care and support from all of her nurses, doctors and caregivers over her 7 year battle with cancer. A celebration of her life will be held 12:00 noon on Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 431 1st St. NW, Grand Rapids with Rev. Dick Host celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to Gods Kitchen.

I have great memories of being a room mother, band parent and a swim team mom with Marilee. She was a mom who was always there for her kids and made great treats for the school parties. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Lee Ann Platschorre

I have not seen Marilee in a few years but she was a very special person and always was volunteering to help. I remember when she and Bob Sr. helped remodel St Dominics Church. She was right there helping to haul cement block, etc. Marilee was also a precious angel to our daughter during her school years at Godwin and Ferris University. Thank the Lord for so many memories that she gave to all who met her. God bless Bob and family at this time and know that you are in are prayers. We now have another angel in heaven to look down on us. God Bless Pam and John Hagen Pam and John Hagen

I did not know Marilee on a personal level. I went to school with her son Bob. I just wanted to express my love to the entire family in your time of loss. It is important to cherish those special memories. I lost my dad almost 8 years ago and I am so glad and blessed to have had some special memories of my Dad and I that I can pass on to my daughter. She was a year and a half old when he died, so it has been special to me to tell her stories of her Papa. Pam Holsinger Lancaster

Marilee was an Amazing presence and always he'd a smile for all. Marilee and I had a funny moment at work years ago at Herman Miller-I decided I wanted to make her laugh. So I grabbed her hand and said let's skip over to the picnic table for our meeting. So we held hands and skipped on over-laughing the whole way. I'll truly miss her! God bless her family! Kym
