Marie B. Syswerda (Snyder), age 91, of Grandville, was called to her heavenly home Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Rick DuMonte. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 71 years, John; children, Ethel and Louis Austhof, Joy DuMonte, Linda and David Repasky, Dan and Jackie Syswerda, David and Cheryl Syswerda, Tom and Judy Syswerda, Mary and Kevin Carmody; 18 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Marguerite Buhler, Lila Brummel, Charles and Erma Snyder; sister-in-law, Eleanor TenBroke; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Kentwood) 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE with Pastor Jay Stehouwer officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Trinitarian Bible Society or Faith Hospice-Trillium Woods.
