Marie Husby

Marie Catherine (Blanck) Husby, a devoted mother to three boys of Holland, MI passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 after a long battle with COPD. Her family was by her side when she finally found Peace. She was the fifth-born child of Charles Herman and Myrtle Lillian (Barker) Blanck of Flint, MI, March 23, 1946. Marie grew up in the parish and schools of Saint Michaels Catholic Church of Flint, MI where her core beliefs and love for the Lord was formed. She carried and revered her faith throughout her life. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her sons; Charles and Denise Husby of Jenison, MI, Michael and Enid Husby of McKinney, TX and Kirk and Catherine Husby of Grapevine, TX; and her brothers and sisters; Virginia Blanck, Harvey and Janice Blanck, Herman and Ellen Blanck, Fred Boettge and Sharon Blanck, Garry Staup and Catherine Blanck all of greater Flint and the surrounding areas; she leaves 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 29th, 2016 at Saint Michaels Catholic Church, 609 East 5th Avenue, Flint, MI followed by interment at Flint Memorial Park, 9505 North Dort Highway (times to be arranged).
