Marie Elizabeth Fowler

Marie Elizabeth Fowler, age 94, of Wyoming, went to her heavenly home on Monday October 25, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, Anthony and Caroline Schumacher; brother-in-law, Billie Berryhill. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Mel and Linda Schumacher; grandchildren: Mark and Kathy Schumacher, Karen and Bill Bingham; great grandchildren: Erica, Mandy, and Nate Bingham, Trevor, Daniel and Andrew Schumacher; sister, Oral Berryhill; brother, Ken and Ilene Schumacher; several nieces and nephews. Marie was a devout longtime member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish. She was an avid reader and sewer and enjoyed flower gardening. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October, 28, 2021 at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1630 Godfrey SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Stephen Dudek presiding. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a rosary at 8 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Name Parish or St. Ann’s Home. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of St. Ann’s Home for their loving care of Marie.
