Marie Elaine Chamberlain

Marie Elaine Chamberlain, age 86, of Holland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2020. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved watching the Detroit Tigers, reading, sewing, and serving at her church. Family had a special place in her heart and she loved spending time with them. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Chamberlain; daughter, Donna Kaiser; grandson, Michael Chamberlain; and six sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Paul Chamberlain and Kathy Badalamente; 5 grandchildren and their spouses; 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Ken (Susan) Bautel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1340 E 8th St, Holland, MI 49423 with Bishop Matthew Stitt officiating. Interment will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, at Lakeview Cemetery in Howell, Michigan. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday, February 8, from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church. A special thanks to all of the loving caregivers at Sheldon Meadows, Spectrum Health Hospice, and Mary Free Bed.

Words cannot express the so many ways Marie touched us and our family in Howell, Michigan. Her many visits, our shopping excursions, lunches, and church worship to mention just a few. She provided hours and hours of service to so many. She will always have a place in our heart.
