Marian Ruth Phillips, age 89, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 26, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; daughter, Cindy Shuck.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Yvonne and Jay Poortenga; grandchildren, Ryan and Denise Poortenga, Stacy and Mark Groenink; great granddaughters, Grace and Lydia Poortenga, Elsa and Molly Groenink; brother, Marve Brinks.  Memorial services will be held 3 pm Friday, July 7 at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Chaplain Caleb Walcott officiating.  Inurnment Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 2-3 pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
