Marian May Bruin

Marian May Bruin, age 87, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 3, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; son, William “Bill” Rock. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen (Bruce) Haveman, Terry (Jack) Fisher; daughter-in-law, Margaret Rock; step-children, Marcia (Bruce) Butgereit, Jerry (Karen) Bruin, Midge (Kevin) Krueger, Marlene (Alvin) Gehrke, Marilyn Klawiter, Marji (Jim) Scheele, Marla (Karl) Koepke; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Bloomberg, Carol (Merald) Westphal; and extended family and friends.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 10 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Spectrum Health Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
