Marian “Mary” Poortvliet

Marian “Mary” Poortvliet, age 86, of Grandville, entered her eternal home on Monday, January 29, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Poortvliet.  She is survived by her children, David Poortvliet, Jackie Sutton, Don and Rose Poortvliet, Randy and Rhonda Poortvliet, Cherrie and Tim Medendorp; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sisters, Wilma and Don Cronkright, Phyllis Wiers, Sharon Schippers; sister-in-law, Bev Natte; brothers-in-law, Al and Mary Jo Poortvliet, Lester Beimers.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Rev. Garrett Eriks officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
