Marian Kuiper

Marian (Eggebeen) Kuiper, age 92, of Jenison, was welcomed home to Glory surrounded by her family on Friday, January 10, 2020 and joins her husband of 57 years, John E. Kuiper, and her great-grandson, Isaac Jamison Kuiper who preceded her. Marian was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and always had a smile and kind word to whomever she met. She was blessed with grace and hospitality and had a heart for kids. Marian and her husband John were charter members of Cottonwood Church and actively served with their time and talents in many ways. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bill and Judy Kuiper, Wendy and Rich Natte, Mary and John Lambers; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many others who called her “grandma-great”; brother, Jerry Eggebeen; brother-in-law, John Van Belle; several loving nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr., Grandville, with Rev. Matthew Palsrok officiating.  Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 3-5 pm at the funeral home and also from 10-10:45 prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Edison Christian Life Center.
