Maria Luz Flores, aged 65 of Grand Rapids, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Porfirio Flores and Sofia Perez. She is survived by her husband, Ruperto Vargas-Garcia; their children: Jesus Vargas, Gerardo Vargas, Hector Vargas, Maria Vargas, Salva Vargas, Jose Vargas, Sofia Vargas, Michelle Vargas; grandchildren: Jessica Vargas, Ruperto Vargas, Diego Vargas, Brenda Vargas, Karina Vargas, Mariana Vargas, Diana Quintino, Joanna Quintino, Mariana Quintino, Rogelio Quintino, Diego Quintino, Arely Quintino, Alex Guzman, Karen Guzman, Madelyn Guzman, Damaris Vargas, Cataleya Vargas, Jose Vargas, Javier Puente, Sebastian Puente, Angel Puente, Emmanuel Puente, Julio Puente, and Juan Puente. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 10:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1630 Godfrey SW, Wyoming, with Fr. Stephen Dudek presiding. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday, October 15, from 2-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, with a Rosary service at 5:00 pm.
