Marguerite Sue Schaefer

Marguerite Sue Schaefer, age 64, of Lawton, MI, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marilynn Goss. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Katharine and Nate Thompson, Carrie Schaefer; grandsons, Noah and Kaleb Thompson; sisters, Mary Mason and fiancee Ron Phillips, Barbara and Kevin Dahms, Lynn and James Bingham; her significant other, Steve Enge; and many nieces and nephews. Margie served as a critical care nurse for over 35 years and as a patient educator for Bronson LakeView Hospital in Paw Paw, MI. A memorial service will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 63855 N. M-40, Lawton, MI, with Pastor Wayne McKenney officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 5-6 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or SPCA of Southwest Michigan.
