Marguerite “Linda” Bosker

Marguerite Linda (DuBois) Bosker, age 76, of Coopersville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Linda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Linda truly was an inspiration on how to live life to the fullest with her fun, flirty, adventurous personality. She was vivacious, independent, and unapologetically herself. Her spunk and zest for life was felt by everyone who met her. Linda’s sassiness translated into her wardrobe, which consisted of bedazzled jeans, high heels, and a lot of cheetah print. She had an eye for art and recognized beauty in all things. She dedicated countless hours to her flower gardens and was happiest outdoors walking her beloved dogs through the woods. She often took picnics at the “Big Pine Tree” with her five grandchildren and loved watching them play outside. When Linda was not outdoors, she could be found scratching off lottery tickets, listening to Elvis, and baking the best homemade butter cookies, peanut butter balls, and pies. She was even known for replacing the toys in her grandchildren’s Happy Meals with lottery tickets. She was an energetic, bright soul who touched countless lives. Linda will be missed by many and lovingly remembered by her husband of 51 years, Carroll Bosker, children, Dana and Julie Kleinjans, Becky Yowtz; grandchildren, Elle (Fernando), Cody (Maddie), Kristen (Brandon), Brooke, Lindsay; great-grandchildren, Everly and Harlo; brother, David DuBois; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nels and Mary Bosker, Sherry Bosker, Ruth Peters; several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors. Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Kleinjans; parents, Mora and Marguerite DuBois; brother, Doug DuBois; parents-in-law, Clyde and Lenora Bosker; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Susan DuBois, Joan DuBois, Rodney Bosker; niece, Jennifer DuBois; nephew, Blake DuBois. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf, 6651 Scott St., Allendale, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday, October 15, from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice.
