Margie Vander Wal

Margie Vander Wal, age 92, of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 20, 2023. Margie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, John S. Vander Wal; and her son, John E. Vander Wal. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marie and Scott Andrews, Jan Vander Wal, Don and Phyllis Vander Wal; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Egbert and Joann Boes; sister, Jackie and Tom Sutton; brother-in-law, Gaylord Vander Wal; nephew, Richard and Karen Rector. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1 p.m. at Blendon Township Cemetery (5116-5210 Tyler St., Hudsonville) with Pastor Egbert Boes officiating. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Georgetown and Cambridge Manors.
