Marge   Boersma

Marge Boersma BOERSMA--Marge (Dieterman) Boersma, age 88,  peacefully passed on when the Lord sent his Angels to carry her home, Thursday, January 29, 2015 surrounded by her family.  Marge will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Bert;  her children, Sheri and Phil Boogaart of Grand Rapids and Joan and Phil Haan of St. Paul, MN; her grandchildren Michele and Joe Pajak of Oak Park, IL, Melissa and Ryan Bayne of Waterloo, ON, Leah Haan of Roseville, MN, Elizabeth Haan of Minneapolis, MN, and Jake Boogaart of Grand Rapids; and her great-grandchildren Ruby and James Bayne; her sister and best friend Shirley Leestma Gillisse, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lois Dieterman, Kay Boersma,  Eleanor Elenbaas, Henry and Loeke Boersma, Anne Boersma, Harry and Helen Boersma, Bertha and Len Steensma, Grace and Dave Harper, Mart and Barb Boersma, Ben and Cleo Boersma,  and Anne and Ron Ezinga. She was predeceased by her brother Gerald Dieterman, and brothers-in-law John Leestma, Gord Gillisse, Bill Boersma, Jack Elenbaas and Ralph Boersma. Marge worked for Wurzburg’s, Hudson's, and Macy’s. She was a good friend to many and enjoyed family gatherings, activities at Brookside CRC, and traveling with friends. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015  at 11 AM  at Brookside Christian Christian Reformed Church, 3600 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, 40508, with Rev. Paul DeVries officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM at the church. Contributions in her memory  can be made to Brookside Coffee Break or The Dock Ministry.
