Margarita V. Arizola, age 84 of Kentwood, saved by her amazing grace, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, April 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco R. Arizola; daughters, Linda Arizola, Lucia Reyna; son, Rudy Arizola; son-in-law, Cirlio Fernandez; parents, Francisco and Elosia Vasquez; parents-in-law, Bernardino and Lucia Arizola; brother-in law, Frank Medellin. She was loved and will be dearly missed by her children, Josie Fernandez, Gloria (Gilbert) Aleman, Frank Jr. (Pat) Arizola, Sylvia Arizola, Tommy (Kathy) Arizola, Rosa ( Perfecto) Aguilar, Ernesto (Pam) Arizola, Gilbert Arizola, Manuel ( Monica ) Arizola; 54 grandchildren, 115 great grandchildren, 37 great great grandchildren; brothers, Cresencio (Margie) Vasquez, Francisco Vasquez, Fred (Felice) Vasquez, Richard (Jane) Vasquez, Juan (Lilly) Vasquez; sisters, Olivia (Joe) Torres, Mary Medellin, Guadalupe (Quirino) Salazar; brothers-in-law, Julian (Hortencia) Arizola, Santiago (Bertha) Arizola; many nieces and nephews. Margarita retired from Amway Corporation after 25 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed her time with her family that she loved so much. She had a great sense humor and love to joke and make people laugh. She loved to sew and embroider and do arts and crafts. She loved to bake cakes and cupcakes. The family would love to express a very special thank you to Dr. Enrique Lopez and to the staff at Heartland Hospice of Mason, Jennifer Anderson and Amy Dennis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on Monday, April 23, 2018 at St. Andrews Cathedral, 301 Sheldon Blvd SE, Grand Rapids, with Fr. John Geaney Celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from noon to 9 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 pm. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice of Mason, in Margarita’s memory.
