Margaret “Marge” Ann VanDyke, age 75, of Allendale, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry William Kaskin, and Velma Faye and William Shaw of Tacoma, WA; brother, Randy White; sister, Carol Kaskin; and granddaughter, Shayann Sikkema. Marge will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 47 years, Mark; children, Pete and Glenna Sikkema, Shannon and Jason Dyer, Jennifer and Joseph Bourdon, William VanDyke and Lisa Petree; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Kaskin and TJ Jackson. Marge’s greatest enjoyments in life were spending time with her family, bowling, playing bingo religiously, and visiting Las Vegas, especially participating in bowling tournaments there. A time to celebrate Marge’s life will be held at a later date.

Marge was such a giving, loving and kind lady. Here at Covenant many tears were shed by co-workers and her residents she cared for. Marge loved her residents and they all loved Marge. Marge would go out of her way for all of them. Marge was one of a kind. Really gonna miss you Marge!

Hey Marge…I know you can hear me so Listen up. I just want to say that bowling won’t be the same without you. I will miss your leather vest and key chain hanging on your hip. You were one of the true last Hippies of our time. You were a die hard there at the end…no pun intended. You bowled better than me even after your hip replacement. Be at peace Marge. I’ll see ya on the flip side. I’ll look for the Hippie chick with the leather vest and flowers in her hair and on her wings. Peace and love my friend. ✌️

Marge was a wonderful lady full of spunk! When I look over at the handicap parking spot at work and I don’t see your jeep I can’t help but think of you. My prayers are with her friends and family. Remember Marge it’s never goodbye, its see ya later! *This smoke is for you*

My condolences to the family. Marge and my mom …Nell Myers were Bingo Buddies for such a long time , but they were more than that . Marge was so good to my mom through out their Bingo days 😊 and when my mom became ill of cancer Marge & Jen were there offering her help and to be there with her . My prayers for the family for comfort during this difficult time
