Margaret Rebecca (Simmons) Wolbers

Margaret Rebecca (Simmons) Wolbers, age 98, of Allendale, formerly of Hudsonville, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Herman; 1 grandson; 1 great granddaughter; 7 brothers; 5 sisters. She is survived by her children, Ray and Nancy Wolbers of Grand Haven, Duane and Ethel Wolbers of White Cloud, Marilyn Bylsma of Allendale, David and Nell Wolbers of Gwinn, MI, Russ and Connie Wolbers of Zeeland; 20 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marvelle Simmons; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday 11:00 am at North Blendon Reformed Church, 7284 Taylor, Hudsonville with Pastor Nate Meldrim officiating. Interment Blendon Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (corner of Avery and Scott) 6651 Scott St., Allendale. The family would like to thank the staff at Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Community for the loving care their mom received during her stay.
