Margaret "Marge" Lucas

Lucas – Margaret ”Marge” Marie Lucas, age 83, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. Born in Grand Rapids, MI, daughter of William and Helen Nausadis. She grew up on the westside in the Lithuanian quarter, attended SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Catholic Central High School, where she met her husband Bob. During their 63 years of marriage, Bob & Marge raised four children, took countless family vacations and made many memories. Marge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a homemaker while the kids were in school and then made life-long friends while working at K-Mart. She also enjoyed bowling, arts & crafts, reading, knitting and was a bird and nature lover. Marge loved her Detroit Tigers and watching major tennis tournaments. One of her favorite pastimes was the Friday night Canasta parties with the girls: Maria, Judy, Linda, Kathy, and Barb. Her faith, kindness, and thoughtfulness touched many lives. Her beautiful smile will be remembered by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Bob) Ferguson; brothers-in-law, Don Wilson, George (Leona) Lucas.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Robert James Lucas; her children, Mark (Nan Ramsey) Lucas, Rob (Kristine) Lucas, Susan Gordon,
Maggie (Rob) Barton; grandchildren, Cameron Lucas, Emily Gordon, Maria Zarbeck; sister, Yvonne Wilson, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will greet visitors on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6390 Belmont Ave. NE, Belmont.
