Margaret Jane (Oudbier) Bruggema, age 84, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and was welcomed into Heaven on New Year’s Day 2016. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Bruggema and her brother, Donald Oudbier. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, H. Robert Bruggema; children, Robert J. Bruggema, Beverly and Robert Leestma; grandchildren, Annette and Matt DeVries, Jim Leestma; great grandson, Grant DeVries. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11 am at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. Dewey Moore officiating. Entombment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 7-9 pm at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Calvin Christian School Association.
