Margaret Ellen Andersen

Margaret Ellen Andersen, age 67, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was born March 4, 1955 in Grand Rapids to Soren and Dorothy Andersen. She attended Lincoln School and went to Hope Network Day programming for many years. She loved purses, tote bags, jewelry and headbands, musicals, Oldies music, and Bingo. She also enjoyed family get-togethers and dances. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Andersen; sister, Mary Andersen. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Bill Andersen, Thomas Andersen, Barb and Chris Hackett; nephews, Josh and Valerie Matzen, Joe Matzen; great nieces and cousins and her many friends at Edison Christian Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Pastor Dennis Gilbert officiating. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
