Margaret Blair

Margaret Wilma (Patterson) Blair, age 98, of Grand Rapids. Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2022. Margaret was widowed at a young age, and she raised her daughter as a single parent at a time when that was not common, although she had amazing help and support from her sisters. She was very devoted to her family and loved to get together to play cards or just share laughter and conversation. Margaret worked out of the home most of her life for various manufacturing companies and as a visiting companion for an elderly woman. She finally retired at the age of 73. Margaret enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and just being near water whenever possible even though she never learned to swim. Her best spent times were enjoying being with her sisters and their families and with her daughter and grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; sisters, Virginia, Eleanor, Ethel, Marie, and Ruth. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene and Rick Wells; grandchildren, Ryan and Cassie Robrahn, Brandon and Jessica Robrahn; four great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kyla, Evan, and Ella. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Burial Resurrection Cemetery.
