Marcia Peuler

Marcia Lea Peuler, age 92, of Jenison, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. Marcia was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother who dearly cherished her family. She was blessed with a servant’s heart, loving and serving sacrificially. Marcia enjoyed and was gifted with musical abilities, singing in the church choir, played clarinet in the Grand Rapids Knickerbocker Band, and piano for many years. Over the years, Marcia and her husband were committed to church missions, supporting them in many ways and many missionary families were hosted at their home. Marcia was an advocate for pro-life and was a mentor to many young mothers during crisis pregnancies, assisting them to choose life for their babies. Above all, her dedication to her family and love for Jesus was evident in all she did. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roger. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ross and Jan Peuler, Beth and Terry Roby, Joy Aten, Gae and Bob Huizinga; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Norene Aukeman, Jay and Susan Peuler; and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Waterford Place and Faith Hospice for the love and compassionate care given to Marcia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center.
