Marcia Ann Robinson

Marcia Ann Robinson, age 79, of Allendale, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 21, 2022. Marcia was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who always put others before herself. She was a longtime member of Grand Valley Baptist Church, actively serving her Lord with her time and talents in various ways. Marcia retired from Allendale Public Schools as a ParaPro after many years of faithful service, establishing many long-lasting relationships with the students she taught. Above all, her love for her family and Jesus was evident to all who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Cindy and Paul Zehner, John and Kathy Hawkins, Chris Robinson, Eric and Sara Robinson, her daughter-in-law and longtime friend, Vicky Robinson; grandchildren, Benjamin and Rebecca Hawkins, Stephanie and Ryan Martin, Mia and David Inlay, Ashley and Brett Meena, Lexi Robinson, CJ Robinson, Brianna Robinson; six great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jim Faber, Bob and Lorraine Faber, Michael Faber; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Grand Valley Baptist Church, O-3186 River Hill Dr., Grand Rapids, 49534 with Pastor Dan Heistand officiating. Burial will be held at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, May 26 from 5-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. and also on Friday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service at the church.
