Marcella Mae (Ocobock) Sturm

Marcella Mae (Ocobock) Sturm, age 90, of Byron Center, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2017.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, H. Jack Ocobock; her son, Douglas Arthur Ocobock; sisters, Crystal and Lorraine; step daughters, Debra and Judy Sturm.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 16 years, Cecil A. Sturm; children, Jean and Marve Dirkse, Karen and Frank Bartoszek, Nancy and Ron Zeerip, Larry and Barb Ocobock, Jack and Brenda Ocobock, Beth and Jim Nickels; step children, Janice and Keith Huff, Tom and Mary Sturm, Bill and Linda Sturm, Joe and Danette Sturm, Shelly and Jim Oostdyk, Jeff and Anna Sturm; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Bernice and Carl Church, Viola Shoemaker, Donna Ketelaar, Leora Roersma; and many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, with Msgr. Bill Duncan Celebrant.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Drive SW. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Sebastian Parish Building Fund.
