Marcella Kanske, age 99, of Wyoming, was called to her heavenly home on Friday, December 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph; parents, Leo Herman and LeoKadya Herman; brothers, Edward Smaka, Leo Herman, Donald Herman; sisters, Victoria Michalski, Gertrude Herman; son-in-law, William Kinsman. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Geralyn Myczkowiak, Kathleen Kinsman (Fred Raabe), Barbara VanDuren (John Crofoot); grandchildren, Eric (Emily) VanDuren, Lauren Kinsman-Costello (David Costello), Kevin (Zoey) VanDuren, Andrew (Amber) Myczkowiak, Karrie (Adam) Helm, Michael (Alexandria) Myczkowiak, David Kinsman; great grandchildren, Elliott VanDuren, Liam Helm, Clara Costello, Evie Helm, Dexter VanDuren, Alice Costello, Lucas Myczkowiak, Sidney VanDuren, Audrey Myczkowiak, Isaac Myczkowiak; special people in Marcella’s life, Loraine Bell, Cynthia Urban, Robert VanDuren, Mark Myczkowiak, Bernie Pearson and Gary Simon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, December 9, 2022, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church (Historic Building), 9408 Wilson Ave., Byron Center, with Rev. Charles Fischer officiating. The burial will take place at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 10 - 11 am at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Meals on Wheels West Michigan.
