ARTLIP - Mrs. Mamie Rose Russo Artlip aged 85 passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013, born on Cornwall Ave., on July 7, 1928 to Sam and Josephine "Sella" Russo, who both preceded her in death along with her son, Mike who passed in 1967 and her brothers, Salvatore and Frank Russo. Mamie is survived by her very special daughter and son-in-law, Michelle (Steve) Lampe; her loving grandchildren, Crysta Jean, Joslin Rose and Austin Paul, they will miss their special Nana so very much. Also surviving are two sisters, Mary (Lou) Meade and Josephine Russo; three brothers, Paul Russo, Quentin Russo, John Russo; son, Richard Polderdyk and his son Matthew; 15 nieces and nephews, 23 great nieces and nephews, 3 great great nieces and nephews; also many Russo and Sella cousins; sister-in-law, Maryann Wu; 3 Goddaughters, Jaclyn Bolser, Lynda Meade and Joan Walker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 101 Hall St. SE., with Rev. Theodore Kozlowski as celebrant. Her family will greet relatives and friends Monday from 6 to 8PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Prayers of the Rosary will be recited at 8PM.
