Malaina Hansen-Kee

HANSEN-KEE - Malaina Shae Hansen-Kee passed away peacefully at the age of 25 after a long battle with terminal brain cancer and then the effects of the treatments. On June 18, 2019, 18 years later, she gracefully gained her wings ascending the steps to the open arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ; Grandma, Jan Suschill; Great Grandmother, Gladys Listing and Grandpa, Joe Kee. Supermoms don't wear capes, but they sleep in hospital beds snuggling their sick babies until the pain is gone. Mom, Beth (Dan) Kee, who survives, did just that. Also surviving, sister, Talissa Hansen; brother, Shamus Kee; grandparents, Richard (Sharon) Suschil and Sue Kee; aunts and uncles, Jim (Renee) Suschil, Paula (Jay) Rule, Cyndi (Keith) Nelson, Shannon (John) Katerberg; many more relatives and friends. A graduate of Cedar Springs High School, Malaina loved animals, family and fishing. She was brave and inspiring to us all. Malaina's visitation is 9 to noon on Saturday, June 22 at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with her funeral immediately following.
