Maggie Velazquez, age 64, of Allendale was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was preceded in death by two of her children: Luis Almanza and Josefina Almanza. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of 20 years, Eloy Velazquez; her children, Olaff Velazquez, Wally Velazquez, Karina Salgado; grandchildren, Melanie Velazquez and Jayden Velazquez; sister, Elvera Muldonado; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Maggie was a warm, caring, loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, and family gatherings. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation.
