Madel Vargas

​Madel Carmen Vargas, age 67, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family. She loves Jesus and now is with him in Heaven. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Sacramento; her children, Janette and Rogelio Vargas, Cindy Vargas, Joyce Vargas Lopez and Hector Toledo, John Vargas; grandchildren, Merrary, Bianca, Jahaira, Angel David, Raymundo Gustavo, Manuel Angel, Uriel, Jayden, Andy; great grandchildren, Zadie Rose, Mateo; sisters and brothers, Maria Luisa Cruz, Obdulia Lopez, Ofelia Garcia, Ramiro Lopez, Raul Lopez, Pedro Lopez, Maria del los Angeles Lopez, Eva Evans, David Lopez, Kazzandra Lopez, Florinda Lopez, Jose Lopez; many nieces and nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. The burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Tuesday, March 12, from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home and from 10 to 11 am prior to the service on Wednesday.
