GLUSA - Mrs. Lydia Glusa, aged 79, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hans. Surviving are her children, Georgette Williams (fiancé Clifford Julien), Thomas (Laura) Glusa; grandchildren, Melanie, Timothy and Daniel Snyder, Thomas II, Aaron and Ashley Glusa; great grandchildren, Kristi Snyder, Mercedes Snyder, Tyler Snyder, Adem Matthews; sister, Erna Bender; sisters-in-law, Renata Glusa, Inge Schiller, Berta Glusa, Wilma Glusa; several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lydia was a longtime member and served on the Altar Guild at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, February 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2 Michigan Ave. NE with Pastor Fred Krause officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Altar Guild Fund.
