Lupe Rodriguez

Mr. Lupe Rodriguez, aged 75 of Grand Rapids, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013. Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Rodriguez; father, Semon; mother, Angelita; son, Lupe Jr. and Kathy Taylor. He is survived by his children, Kevin (Shawn Knight), Daniel, Antonio (Andrea Ketner), Lisa (Joseph) Snyder, Trisha Trasky, Tonya (Arturo) Orsario; grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Mara, Stephanie, Antonio Jr., Kristen, Shirley, Andrew, Erik, Spencer, Alicia, Katie, Samantha, Sarah, Elizabeth, Thomas, Yoselyn, Arthur, & Christopher; 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Alfonso Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, Grace, Hector (Juana), Semon (Malena), Daniel (Lori), Irma (Rudy), Gabby, Ruben (Misty), Ranibo, Lorenzo (Monica), Felix, Jimmy (Bonnie) all of Idaho and many nieces and nephews. Lupe will be remembered for his love for his children and grandchildren. Lupe loved to tinker and create new things he needed around the house. Through the years Lupe has made many friends through his job with Michigan Plating & Stamping and at Lake Forest Apartments. His family will gather at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont on Monday, June 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Private graveside services for his children and grandchildren will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park, O-50 Lake Michigan Dr., Grand Rapids.
