Lucille M. Clonan

Mrs. Lucille M. Clonan, age 77, of Wyoming, passed away comfortably at her daughter’s home and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Clonan. Lucille is survived by her children, John (Nancianna) Clonan, Dennis Clonan, and Karen (Dan) Van Riper; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Sharon) Steffens and Joe (Phyllis) Steffens; sister, Rosemary Arends; in-laws, David (Mary Jo) Clonan and Bruce Covey; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Wyoming), 4031 Clyde Park SW on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 5-8 pm, with a Rosary to be held at 5 pm. There will also be visitation at the church on Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.

It was great visiting with Lucy in person this past year, and our phonecalls were always interspersed with silliness and laughter! Reminiscing about good ole Schoonbeck days, family, and old friends was a joy. I will miss her smile, sound advice, chuckles,sense of humor, the timbre of her voice which never changed despite the passing of the years! I love you, Lucy, and my prayers are with your family now, as you are with our Lord Jesus... you are HOME!
