Lucille A. Scherer

Lucille A. Scherer, aged 68 of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; brother, Dan; sister, Margie; brothers-in-law, Chet and Jerry. She is survived by her son, Steve (Kelli) Scherer; two grandchildren, Dylan and Jadyn; sister, Rosie (Dennis) Crowther; sister-in-law, Esther Scherer; brother-in-law, Chris Petcou; and many nieces and nephews. Lucille had a “huge heart” and was devoted to her grandchildren and family. She was a self-less woman who always thought of others first. She retired from Lacks Industries after 31 years of service and enjoyed playing bingo, craft shows, antiques stores and garage sales. Lucille enjoyed retirement in Florida for several years, before returning home to West MI to be closer to her grandchildren. The biggest joy in her life was spending time with her family and friends. As requested by Lucille, cremation has taken place and the family will have a time of sharing and remembrance at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
