Luanne Sage

Luanne (Goutziers) Sage, 55, of Grand Rapids, was called home to her Lord and Savior Friday morning, March 14, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by her loved ones, she passed away peacefully in her home. Luanne was born in Grand Rapids, July 27th, 1958, the third daughter, with rhyming names....Suzanne, Dianne, and Luanne. Luanne was a giving and compassionate person. If you didn't know her, you truly missed out on a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. She is survived by Bryan "HalfBreed", the love of her life, and her of his; her parents, Nick and Mary Goutziers of Arcadia; sisters, Suzanne (Duane) Stickney, of Custer, Dianne (Ted) Haan, of Wyoming; her brother, Brian Goutziers (Sue Mathewson), of Fenwick; several nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, her dogs, Jazzy and Hoss; and her many friends. Luanne was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Lorraine Goutziers; and her husband, Bill Sage. Luanne loved flying in the wind on the back of Bryan's "My Guy" Harley, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and could bring smiles to all. A special thank you to Faith Hospice for the wonderful and spiritual care they gave Luanne, and her family during this difficult time.
