Luanne C. (Allers) Mulder, age 83, of Jenison, entered into the presence of her Lord and was freed from her earthly challenges with dementia, on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Luanne was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was blessed with a kind and gentle spirit. With always a smile on her face, she was positive and content in all circumstances. Luanne’s love for her Lord and family was evident to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Dorolene Allers. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Arlyn Mulder; children, Karri and Ron Brunink, Randy and Becky Mulder, Rick and Kim Mulder, Kim and James Bruursema, Chris and Stacey Mulder; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, LaVonne and Jerry Austin, Bern and Michele Allers, Dean and Terry Lynne Allers, Marcia and Bob Hollenbeck, Gregg and Suzie Allers; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Jan Mulder, Bob and Sally Mulder, Don and Elaine Mulder, Lynda Mulder; and several loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Emmanuel Hospice and especially to Luanne’s special caregiver, Bonnie Bratt, for the love and compassionate care given to Luanne. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16, at 1 p.m. at Grandville Protestant Reformed Church, 4320 40th St., Grandville, with Rev. Nate Decker officiating. The burial will take place at Jamestown Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Hospice.
