Louise Shumaker

SHUMAKER - Mrs. Louise Shumaker aged 68 passed away Monday, April 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Della Wightman. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Vernon; children, Bart (Gayle) Shumaker, Kimberly (Donald) Mulder; grandchildren, Teresa and Benjamin Shumaker, Jessie and Mary Mulder; brother, Daniel Wightman; sisters, Diane (Keith) Hayes, Mary (David) Ten Brink; brother-in-law, Richard (Dawn) Shumaker; several nieces and nephews. Louise worked at Hope College for 29 years, serving as the Director of Students with Disabilities. A celebration of Louise's life will be held 2:00PM April 16, 2016 at First United Methodist Church, 57 W. 10th St., Holland. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.
