Louis Sabo

Louis Arthur Sabo, aged 80, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2019.  Louis was born in Kalamazoo on December 14, 1938 to Paul Sabo and Henrietta (Sabo) Mease née Sears.  He attended the UpJohn School and Kalamazoo Central High School. In 1955 he began working at Miller Lumber Co. for over 30 years.  He was an avid Detroit Lions/Tigers fan. He had a love for model airplanes and was very active in the local deaf community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ann; sons, Rick Louis Sabo and Nick Sabo. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Timothy Todd Sabo of Ypsilanti and Colin Scott (Julie) Sabo of Kalamazoo; grandchildren: Cynthia Sabo and Cory Sabo; great grandchildren: Brody Louis and Ava Sabo; mother, Henrietta Mease; brother, Todd (Shelley) Mease; sister, Barbara (David) Haan.
