Louis Frank Wisniewski Jr.

Louis F. Wisniewski Jr. of Freeport, passed peacefully at home Sunday morning October 8, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Wisniewski; parents, Louis and Martha Wisniewski and sister, Theresa Nielson. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy and son-in-law, Larry VanderWoude; his son, Walt Wisniewski; granddaughter, Kendra; siblings, Mary Braate, Barb Brunges, Steve (Sue) Wisniewski, Mike Wisniewski, Paul (Deb) Wisniewski.

Louie enjoyed going to the dirt tracks, deer hunting, fishing, spending time with his great grandchildren, and his grand dogs. He enjoyed going to breakfast daily with his friends. Louie had a great sense of humor; and often had a story or two to tell. He was a man with boldness that served his squad well in Vietnam. He worked the majority of his life as a body repair man, and finished his work in the heating and cooling industry. He was a good friend to all he knew.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Caledonia) 616 E. Main St. Interment Irving Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday from 10-11 am prior to the service.
