Louis F. Dykema, age 86 of Grand Rapids, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Emil Greg Morlock. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Beverly; children, Diane Morlock, Carol Dykema, Russell Dykema; grandchildren, Heather (Matt) Richards, Ryan Morlock, Amber Dykema, Ashley (Zach) Pace, Alyssa Dykema, Eric (Ashley) Dykema; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Brianna, Cameron, Brison; many nieces and nephews. Louis served in the US Naval Reserves. He worked for the C&O Railroad for 13 years and retired from GM Fisher Body Plant after 30 years. The family will meet relatives and friends 6-8pm Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming.

Uncle Louie had a kind gentle soul. Fantastic sense of accomplishment and always had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by many.
