Lorraine M. Rivera

Lorraine M. Rivera, age 68, of Wyoming, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 13, 2025. Lorraine was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family. She will always be remembered for her love of 80’s music.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Dannagh; siblings, Donna, Linda, Shelly, Steve, and Debbie Dannagh; sister-in-law, Carmen Vaillant; brother-in-law, Felix Rivera.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Jose; children, Jose Jr. and Wendy Rivera, Julie Gedeon; grandchildren, Cathy and Elson Toussaint, Victoria and Nicholas Caperna, Castra Gedeon Jr., Julia Gedeon, Canaan Gedeon, Carly Gedeon; great-grandchildren, Elian Toussaint, Uriel Toussaint, Lucy Caperna; sister-in-law, Rosa Torres, Jose Luis and Olga Rivera; many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 12 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. Wyoming with Pastor Alex Fernandez officiating.  Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family from 11-12 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to consider the needs of the family.
