Lorraine Doyle

Lorraine Doyle, age 86, of Jenison, was called to her eternal home on Thursday, March 3, 2022, ending her battle with Alzheimer’s. Lorraine worked at Rogers Department Store for over 28 years. She had a selfless love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lorraine and Richard spent a lot of their later years traveling around the world. Lorraine will always be remembered by her giving heart and spirit to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Richard; parents, Roy and Cornelia Chesebrough; son, Steven Doyle; sister, Marilyn and Charlie VanderLaan; and brother, Norman Chesebrough. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Debra and Edmund Lehmann, Sherri and Hank Katerberg, Brenda and Richard Kreuger, Linda and Ross Johnson; grandchildren, Chadd and Patti Lehmann, Kelli and Brad Bramer, Kimberly and Brian Mitchell, Matthew Hoffman, Michael and Ashley Hoffman, Codey Hoffman and fiancée, Annie Billock, Sarah Kreuger and fiancé, Jordan Dykstra, Hannah and Leo Lach, Joseph Kreuger, Tyler and Bridget Johnson, and Trevor Johnson and fiancée, Cayleigh Jannereth; 19 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ginny Chesebrough, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with her grandson, Pastor Brian Mitchell, officiating. The burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Those who wish to make memorial contributions to The Alzheimer’s Association or Faith Hospice. The family wants to express their thanks to Brookcrest and the staff for the care and concern given to their mother, as well as Kathy Babbcock from Faith Hospice.
