Loretta Hodsdon

Loretta Nancy (Nelson) Hodsdon - aged 80, known to her many friends and family as Lori, died peacefully on October 31, 2019 in Grand Rapids Michigan. Lori was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard Hodsdon, Sr. (Dick Nelson). She leaves behind her 5 children: Lori (Rick) Whilden, Joni (Kelly) Hodsdon, Richard (Michelle) Hodsdon, Jr., Vicki (Jake) Sheneman, Mary Hodsdon, 12 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Lori was born in Chicago, Illinois and leaves a legacy too long to capture, but encompasses a life-long deep commitment to her loving family and an enthusiasm for everyone in her life. Lori had the unique ability to make every person she knew feel loved, special and accepted. She will be missed beyond all words and leaves a void unfillable to all that knew her. The family will host a public celebration of her life Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. for all that wish to join at: Hager Park Devries Room, 8134 28th Ave, Jenison MI 49428.
