Loren E. Pauling

Loren E. Pauling, age 89 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully and went to be with his Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie Pauling; daughter, Andrea Fraits; father, Fred Pauling; mother, Elsie Klemm; and brothers, Wendell and Howard. Loren is survived by his children, Laurie (Steve) Rosenberg, James Pauling, Rex (E.C.) Pauling; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Doug Fraits; brother, Frederick Pauling; and many nieces and nephews. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be planning a gathering to honor his life later this year.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
