Lois Morehouse

Lois Jean Morehouse, age 82, of Wyoming, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 26, 2024, due to the effects of Parkinson’s. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Marion Hofman and Donna Lampen. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Robert “Bob” Morehouse; stepchildren, Jon A. (Margaret) Morehouse, Cheryl (Erik) Crooks; grandchildren, Brandon Harig; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Harig; brother-in-law, Dale Hofman; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a member of First Reformed Church of Grandville for 48 years and was very involved in the choir. After working as a secretary for many years, Lois retired and started working part-time as tour leader for Spectrum Tours which allowed her and Bob to travel to many areas of our great country. They spent 35 years living on Buck Creek in Grandville and many happy winters in Destin, Florida. She spent her last four years at Rivertown Ridge Retirement Community. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church of Grandville, 3060 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, with Rev. Bud Pratt officiating. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to First Reformed Church of Grandville.
