Lloyd was such a good listener, and a consummate professional. And he often had a mischievous twinkle in his eye to complement his good sense of humor. I enjoyed working with both he and Judy, as well as getting to see them over the years at AAA meetings. I am both personally and professionally sad to learn of this unexpected loss. He was a true gentleman, and will be sorely missed by many. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I had the honor to meet Lloyd when I was a graduate student at the University of South Dakota. After my daughter was born he became her godfather. Over the years, we have shared many happy moments together. We will be forever grateful for the gentleness, kindness and loving gesture he has shown our family. Board game time will never be the same without him. We will miss you! Rest in peace. Ling Cheng and Ziming Li

Life without this man is difficult to comprehend. His gentleness, kindness and humour will be missed. What will Denny's grand slam be without my friend. Not to mention his like for polish sausage. Lloyd, you were my academic anchor, as a fellow PhD student, as a co-author.....REST IN PEACE mate.

We enjoyed be able to meet up with Lloyd and Judy during our RV travels in various states and also when the AAA convention was in Ottawa, Ontario a few years back. Never did we imagine the 4 days spent in San Antonio this past March would be the last the four of us would be together. Your unassuming and always cheerful manner will be missed. Rest in peace.
